RIVAL Insurance, LLC is owned and managed by Lance Vilhauer.  Lance obtained his crop insurance license in the fall of 2007 and has been actively selling and servicing crop insurance products for over 18 years!  Having spent over 17 years as an agricultural lender, Lance knows firsthand the financial importance of having a successful and well-aligned crop insurance program for your individual farm or ranch. 
 
Lance prides himself on giving the same level of service to operations ranging from a 20-head cow/calf ranch to grain farms with over 20,000 acres.  The personalized level of care and true commitment to see his customers succeed enable Lance to be the perfect partner for any size operation!

Lance grew up on a cow/calf and grain operation 13 miles SW of Aberdeen, SD.  Like all farm and ranch operations, the relentless work ethic was taught and acquired.  Never making excuses, Lance is always accountable to his customers. 
 
Lance and his wife, Lyndsey, have (2) kids and live next to the Vilhauer family farm.  Having their own cow/calf herd and grain acres, Lance can relate to all his customers, knowing their day-to-day successes and struggles.  For this reason, all of Lance’s customers know his phone line is open 24/7 for calls with questions or wanting to lock in certain insurance coverages.
